Just like the real thing, this 1:16 scale MACK Granite Liebherr Crane Truck from Bruder is a super impressive that literally towers above the BRUDER range of utility vehicles. When the telescopic boom is extended, the Crane Truck is already of considerable height and can be extended even further with an additional boom. Kids will be impressed because when the crane boom is at full length, with the additional attachment, and fully raised, it is 51.2 inches high and will tower above them. Given the size, it must naturally also be stable, so to prevent the truck from tipping over it is equipped with swiveling support legs that are individually adjustable. For even greater stability, the installed counterweight can be used, just like an original crane. To ensure it is heavy enough, it can be filled with sand. BRUDER's slogan 'multi-functional' is particularly evident in this model's newly developed cable winch with a locking device and overload protection, which make it very easy to get to grips with the crane hook, even when lifting and lowering large parts. Bruder's love of detail extends to the crane operator's cab too. Just like the original, it has a pane protection frame and a sliding door which opens. A tool compartment integrated into the platform completes adds even more function. The Mack cab is just as impressive, with numerous chrome parts, a large hood that tips back to display the engine compartment, and doors that open and close. The other issues on this model are less severe than breaks and they are on the plastic parts (mirrors and back stabilizers) where they show evidence of forced bending, no big deal.
